If you have been a forever-fan of Japanese pop culture, then the annual Anime Expo (AX) 2020 is where you should be. Anyone who’s obsessed with anime will covet a ticket to this largest anime con. It attracts more than a million fans to its venue in Los Angeles, California.
The expo is organized by a non-profit organization called Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA). With a history that dates back to 1991, the convention remains to be a thriving event owing to the rising popularity of anime and Japanese pop culture. It maintains a firm draw because of the several notable Japanese guests that grace the convention with their presence.
Anime Expo features several activities and events that attendees can participate in. These include table top gaming, guest panels, concerts, arcades, and competitions. The most prominent attractions of the convention include the Anime Music Video competition, the Masquerade cosplay competition, and the Battle of the Bands. There is also a Charity Auction to support SPJA. There are quite a few movie and video rooms too. Whether you like your anime in English or Japanese, you’ll find plenty to enjoy. You can enter them for some fun anime screenings that play throughout the day.
Much like the other conventions of the same nature, Anime Expo 2020 will feature a large scale exhibition hall where you can buy a host of products from an array of creative exhibitors. From fan-created art works to other crafts like pins, wigs, and cosplay material, you will find a lot of items to add to your kitty.
